Day One JapanesePrivacy policy

Information we collect
This site does not collect information that identifies you, such as your name, email address, or phone number. There is no sign-up or login.
Information saved in your browser
Your learning progress (finished lessons, where you left off, basic check results) and your chosen language are saved in your browser (localStorage).
This information is not sent to our servers. The operator cannot see it (「Feedback」 and 「Like」 below are different).
What you send with 「Feedback」
Text you send with 「Feedback」 is saved in the operator's database (Cloudflare), together with the page you sent it from and the language you were viewing. So that the operator can read it, the same text is also sent to Discord (a chat service). We use it only to improve the site.
To prevent spam, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (a check that a person is using the page) when you send. Cloudflare may check your browser information and IP address at that time, but the operator does not keep them.
Likes
The 「Like」 button at the bottom of each page saves only the total number of likes for each page. We do not save who pressed it.
How to delete saved information
You can delete your progress with 「Delete my progress」 on the Settings page. To delete everything, including your display language, delete this site's data (cookies and site data) in your browser settings.
Analytics and advertising
We do not use analytics tools or advertising.
Service that delivers this site
This site is delivered through an external hosting service. To operate safely, the service may temporarily keep access logs (IP address, time, browser type, and so on).
Changes to this policy
We will announce any changes on this page. When we add a login feature, we will add what information we keep and how we use it.
